Future Plan

Community Development Programs

Community Development Programs

To plan and implement community-participated government and government-sponsored programs on rural development such as wasteland development, water harvesting, afforestation, environmental regeneration, animal welfare, biodiversity conservation, and natural resources promotion and management through awareness and education camps. Campaigns, workshops, meetings, and field activities are also planned.

Health and Sustainability Initiatives

To promote medicinal plant-based indigenous healthcare, nutritional food systems, herbal gardens, kitchen gardens, and nursery plants through community participation. Social sustainability is predicated upon the increased importance of traditional medicines in local medical services delivery systems. As more people find it increasingly difficult to access conventional allopathic medical services, they will resort to traditional medicines, making the development of this system of delivering medicinal services more socially sustainable. With increased recognition of traditional medicine as an alternative parallel system of providing primary healthcare and increased attention to developing traditional medicine into an evidence-based practice, it is possible that more and more people will turn to it and increase its potential for providing sustainable livelihoods.
